I have memories of the Beach from about 66 years ago.
My parents were friends of the Hendersons who owned a cottage by the
name of Lillybank Lodge at Inverhuron Beach.
I may have been there only once but I clearly remember playing in the
sand behind the cottage.
Another clear memory is the smell of kerosene from the lamps. I guess
there was no electricity at that time (1940?).
The Henderson family were from Durham where they owned a bakery.
