Robert (Bob) Kilmer

Passed away at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine on Sunday, December 14, 2008 in his 74th year.
Beloved husband of Kathy Kilmer (nee Kelly).
Loving father of Jeff Kilmer of Bailieboro and Anne (Scott) Morrison of Toronto.
Loved by his seven grandchildren. Remembered by his brother-in-law Bill Howatt of Michigan and his sister-in-law Chris Kilmer of Port Elgin.
Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents, Spencer and Mary (Kennedy) Kilmer, sister Joyce Howatt and brother John.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Ignatius of Loyala Parish, Mississauga (Burnhamthorpe & Erin Mills Parkway) on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at 12:00 noon.
Interment, Kincardine Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Parkinson Society of Canada, Trillium Court Memorial Fund or Kincardine Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

Bena, Jill (Robertson),

Passed away suddenly in Fort Myers, Florida on May 5, 2009.
Jill was pre-deceased by her husband Richard, seventeen years ago.
She is sadly mourned by her two sons, Andrew and Michael (Yulie), and grandchildren, Marcella and Jose of Fort Lauderdale as well as her sister, Marti (Sandy McFadzean) and brother Drew (Janet Evans) who reside at Inverhuron in the summer.
Jill spent her summers at Inverhuron since the early 1950's and made wonderful friends at the beach.
Memories were shared by the many cottagers who attended a memorial service in Burlington, Ontario on May 14, 2009.
Jill will be missed for her creativity, spontaneous humour, generosity and intelligence.
We all have stories about her adventures at the cottage.

KEVIN SEAN KENNY,

Tragically at the age of 47 in a car accident near his beloved Inverhuron cottage, on Wednesday, January 20, 2010.
Missed beyond words by Jackie and their four children, Conor, Sean, Shannon and Kieran.
Cherished son of Donald and the late Madeline Kenny, and stepson of Dorothy Kenny.
Beloved brother of Angela, Karenann (Dave Terrell) and Mary-Theresa (Randy Hiltz).
Fun-loving uncle to Donal, Carley, Robyn, Madeline, Emily, Grace, and Megan, Matthew, Andrew, Trevor, Emily, Liam, Dylan, Simon, Tristan and Chelsea.
A founding member ("KB10") of Sigma Nu Fraternity at the University of Western Ontario, a sports enthusiast, and a smiling and energetic friend to so many.
It is unfathomable for any of us to imagine a world without him in it.
Visitation will be held on Sunday January 24th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at HIGHLAND FUNERAL HOME, 10 Cachet Woods Crt., Markham (NE corner of 16th & 404) 905-887-8600 .
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday January 25th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, 5633 Hwy 7 East, Markham.
Interment at Christ the King Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to an educational trust fund being established for Kevin's four children would be greatly appreciated.
Kevin, your laughter and energy will echo in our memories and in the hearts of your four babies forever.
May you be wrapped safely in your mother's arms now, and may God forever hold you in the palm of His hands.
We will miss you Dad, please watch over us.
Love and forever.

Sheldon Hastings Passed away on Febuary 4 2010.
Sheldon and Betty were long time summer residents at Inverhuron.

W. Duane Smith

W. Duane Smith passed away on February 14, 2010 from complications from colon cancer.
Duane first visited Inverhuron in 1936 as a 12 year old with his family from Detroit.
Over the next 73 years, there were very few summers when he didn't spend at least a some time at his beloved Inverhuron Beach.
He and his wife, Barbara, purchased their own cottage at the end of the summer of 1971 after renting various cottages over the years.
He is survived by daughter, Wendy Dillingham (Phil), son, Doug (Dawn), seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Jean Elinor Hunter (nee Cameron)

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our amazing mother at home following her 89th birthday party at MasarykPark January 8, 2010.
Predeceased by the love of her life, Jack Hunter January 4, 1962.
Beloved mother of 3 children and their partners, Barb Cormack (Chris Begg), Doug Hunter (Marianne Wouters), and Cathie Kudla (Peter).
Grammie is lovingly remembered by grandchildren Christopher, Michael, Ryan, Jayson, Caitlin, Diana and Erin.
Dear sister to the late Dr. Donald Cameron.
Will be sorely missed by her many Cameron and Hunter and Bird nieces, nephews and extended family and her many lifelong friends at Inverhuron.
Jean spent 76 enjoyable summers at the family cottage at Inverhuron and rarely missed her daily swim in the lake regardless of temperature including her last summer there.
She will be fondly remembered by those friends and family as the "Queen of the Beach".
She touched the hearts of everyone she met with her sense of humour and her joy for life.

Gordon Edgar Brown

Passed away at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine on Thursday, July 15th, 2010.
Gordon Edgar Brown, of RR#2 Tiverton and formerly of Durham, in his 82nd year.
Beloved husband of the former Ruby Gomm.
Loving father of Ron Brown, Sandra Brown, Judy McLennan and Debbie Stanton.
Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Allan and his wife Kandace, Laura, Ian and Richard and his great-granddaughter Audrey.
Dear brother of Catherine and her husband Alvin Alexander, the late Ross Brown and his late wife Essie.
Brother-in-law of Marion Weppler, Anne Lehman, Dorothy Beaton and the late Nellie Brown.
Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews and extended family.
Visitation: Friends may call at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, 166 Bruce Street North, Durham on Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral Services: A celebration of Gordon's life will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Interment at Durham Cemetery.
Donations: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Canadian Foodgrains Bank, Lung Association or Special Olympics would be appreciated by the family.
